One ride, plenty to do

Free Ride combines road traffic, fuel planning, passenger lifts, stickers for fans and roadside assistance. Shout OYAAH to nearby fans and wave while riding. Complete missions for coins and street cred, then work towards better bikes and gear. Accidents can cost hearts and cred; service stops help you keep going.

Learn with Malcolm

Rider School gives one lesson at a time. Hold GAS, use BRAKE, practise jumps and learn manual overtaking before exploring the roads.

Playing on a phone

Open the game in your browser and turn the phone sideways. The first ride downloads artwork, sound and map data; later visits can reuse cached files. Fullscreen support depends on the browser. Close demanding background apps if play feels slow; performance varies by device.

Use the touch controls on a phone or keyboard controls on a computer. Sound preferences and automatic/manual overtaking are available in settings. Optional analytics start off, and live Google ads remain disabled during approval and clearance.

Made for Nairobi’s road culture

Original game art, fictional OYAA Ride and OYAA Bites services, matatus, bodas and tuk-tuks share the roads. Map data comes from OpenStreetMap; the illustrated scenery and handling are gameplay interpretations.
